Banana Sour Cream Bread
I have used the EBNB (extreme banana nut bread) recipe from this site for years but I tried something different this Mother's day and all I can say is "Wow!" This is a far superior recipe for a much more moist bread. Dusting the pans with cinnamon sugar made a delicious difference. The only thing I did differently was that I used 2 cups brown sugar and 1 cup white as we prefer the taste of brown sugar in a banana bread. Simply amazing!! I made 2 larger loaves (9×4?) and had to bake them at 325 for nearly an hour and a half but they could not have turned out better!

Delicious!! I've had this recipe in my recipe box for months, just waiting for a reason to make it and Christmas was the occasion I was looking for. I made it 2 and a half days in advance per reviewers' suggestions and it turned out perfect- just as good, if not better than at my favorite restaurant. I found the mascarpone cheese in the deli's section of imported cheeses at my local grocery store and used the "hard" lady fingers since that was all I could find. I was nervous about using those after reading multiple reviews saying to only use the soft ones but they are wrong! The hard lady fingers soaked up the coffee/liquor mixture and turned very soft (even the parts that weren't soggy were soft). Everyone loved this dessert and it was much easier to make than I expected. I also made it in a trifle dish and it turned out really pretty.

Thanksgiving Cheese Ball
Excellent flavor! I made this exactly according to the recipe and it was a huge hit at our Thanksgiving get-together. The guys gobbled it up while watching football. We love blue cheese and the flavor was just enough to be bold without overpowering the entire thing. We served it as a spread but it would have easily made a ball if I'd wanted to. Will definitely be making this many more times!
