Wow. It has been quite a while since I gave a recipe 5 stars but this one is definitely deserving! Really, really good with a nice flavor but it may be a little warm if you have children - my nose was running. There were several tortilla soup recipes on this site I was wanting to try, but this is so good I will probably just stick this one. Why mess with a good thing???

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

This was ok, a basic recipe. I did take another reviewers suggestions of baking the rolls while lining the pan and topping the rolls with the extra cabbage leaves as well as using another sauce besides plain tomato soup. First time at making cabbage rolls and I will probably make them again but I am going to keep looking for something with a little more flavor using a "knock-out" sauce.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Great recipe! Forgot to buy green onions and actually am glad that I did. I had some cilantro on hand and used that instead which I feel gave it a more authentic mexican taste. Will definitely be making this again.

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Really liked this - hubby said to keep recipe. I used the low sodium soup and the salt amount was fine. On atkins so I omitted using the flour to cut down on some of the carbs.

Chicken Breasts with Lime Sauce

I always have trouble keeping the breading on chicken and this recipe was no exception. Still, I thought this turned out very good as the sauce is what makes it interesting.

I had looked so forward to making this recipe and was disappointed when I finally did. Not to say it was bad, but it tasted like plain old BBQ chicken to us and required a great deal more effort.

American Lasagna

Really good lasagna. I used the 1/2 lb as spicy sausage (had some I needed to use up) and added a 6 oz can tomato sauce as others had commented this recipe was a little dry. It turned out perfect! It was not too runny and definitely not dry either. You could really taste the cheeses in this recipe as well.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

We really liked one. Used Chateau St Michelle chardonnay and Black Forest Ham. Added some white pepper. Served over egg noodles. Received a "good" from husband - majority of recipes receive an "okay" :)

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Very easy and great cake! I did make it in a two layer round pan though to make the presentation a little fancier. Used the preshredded carrots in the produce section to make things easier on myself and surprisingly, they worked well. I did not have any issues with the oil as others have.

Amish Slaw

Glazed Meatloaf I

This was easy and tasty. I used 1 tbsp prepared mustard and 3/4 cups of oats as others have suggested and this came out a perfect consitency. Thanks for the advice!

I thought this was pretty good, although it tasted like a box mix. To save time I used Pepperidge Farms bread crumbs and added chicken to make it a one-dish meal.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

We really liked this one! I nice change as I usually just use canned sauce to make a quick meal. I served this over beef raviolis with a salad and bread. There was nothing left by the time we finished as we kept soaking the sauce up with the bread! This could easily pass for a fine resturaunt's meal and it was super easy. Most people have all the ingredients on hand, with the exception on the heavy cream, so that is a big plus in my book.
