Picture this: A Rib Eye Beef Patty (Homemade: Just Slice Up A Rib Eye Steak And Put It In The Food Processor For A Bit.) A Large Soft Roll Slathered With Dukes Mayonnaise (There Is No Sugar In Dukes Mayonnaise) And Then Toasted. The Roll Gets So Crunchy. Add Melted Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Red Onions, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Salt, Pepper ( With Ketchup, And Pickles If You're So Inclined).

Best burger I have ever had. Rib Eye is one of my favorite cuts. each patty was about 8 ounces. I should have cooked them rare or medium rare but I was not sure how long it would take on the George Forman grill.

KingSparta, that burger looks great, makes me hungry, what time is dinner?? I have never put the mayo on before grilling, what is the purpose? And Yes, Rib Eye would make an awesome burger. I have got to try that, Thanks

toasting your toast using mayo I first learned when cooking grilled cheese sandwiches instead of using butter or other oils. The mayo will brown nicely into a delicious crust and offers a rich, slightly tangy flavor.

Looks like a tasty burger! Next time I make a grilled cheese, I am going to try the mayo trick!

I'm with you, KingSparta, rib eye steak is the beef to use for so many dishes. For the past few years, I have bought the gourmet burgers from the butcher just because they are excellent and I don't think that I could do better than he. Maybe rib eye is his secret as they certain taste like a delicious steak. I only use rib eye when making Ken in CA's beef stroganoff. Fabulous! Thanks for the awesome idea! Oh, and try mayo instead of butter when making garlic toast. Very good!

I have been exploring New York and searching for the best burger joint. Now I can just stay home! Where can I get some of this Dukes Mayo?
