One day when the earth is so over crowded we will not have room for animals, for food, or even pets. everything will be man made synthesized food in cans and tubes with artificial flavorings.

Slowly but surly Americans are being indoctrinated into buying boxed foods, already prepared and all you need to do is add water, and or heat them up. they almost always include artificial flavorings and preservatives.

It is only a matter of time where we will be eating a delicious vegan meals, from a tube like the picture below.

Lordy KingSparta,in this case i sure hope your wrong, but you are right, when i go grocery store,i see people buying so much boxed stuff. My parents made everthing from scratch, including our own pasta noodles, very happy they did,i learned to cook that way,and i think i'm better off for it.

Yep, that's my point. Many families have no idea how to make anything from scratch. they think mashed potatoes come from a plastic container.

King-too many preservatives as far as I am concerned. Beef Stew in a tube doesn't even look appetizing.

In my neck of the woods (Nova Scotia) there are more and more people PLANTING GARDENS! I don't belive "WE" will be eating stuff from tubes any time soon . . . .

Count me out too. I'll take the fresh foods from my garden over anything in a box, can or tube!

Hardly likely. Ours is a pleasure seeking society and a tube of flavored paste couldn't possibly provide the gratification factor most people demand. This theory was heavily bandied about during the early days of manned space flight and we're not eating Caesar Salad popsicles yet. ;-)
