Today I decided To Make Egg Drop Soup For Lunch

The Recipe Is Very Basic

2 Cups Of Chicken Broth
1 Egg
1 Level Tablespoon Of Corn Starch

Yep That's It.

Put in a pot the chicken broth, mix in the Corn Starch, Put The Stove On High, And Keep The Broth Mixed, As It Heats Up It Will Thicken, If It Starts To Boil Take It Off The Heat. Scramble an Egg Into A Small Bowl. Use Your Chip Sticks (If You Have Some) And Put Them On The Side Of Your Bowl You Have Your Egg In To Allow The Egg To Drizzle Down The Side Of The Chop Sticks Into The Hot Broth. The Egg Should Instantly Cook in The Broth.

What I Added Is

1. A Dash Turmeric (For Color, Most Asian Places Use Turmeric In There Egg Drop Soup)
2. Sesame Oil (Just A Few Drops, Don't Over Do It, This Adds A Bit Of Flavor And, Fat To The Dish)
3. Sliced Green Onion (One Is Plenty, You May Want This Added To The Broth If You Like Your Green Onion A Bit Cooked)
4. Dash Of Soy Sauce (To Add A Bit More Sodium, And Flavor).

That's one of my favorite soups in the winter. So it is drizzling the egg that makes it work. Good to know.

Thanks King. My family wants me to make egg drop soup. I always thought there was tofu in it. I like your recipe.
