Since Going Back To Work I Have Been Experimenting With Meals For Lunch In A 16 Ounce Thermos. Today I Made Chicken Noodle Soup. Basically I Put Hot Water In the Thermos For 10 To 15 Mins. Then Take 1\3 Cup Of Raw Elbow Macaroni, And stir in 2 Tablespoons
Of Butter. Then Heat Up Two Cups Of Chicken Broth (With Or Without Chicken Meat) To Boiling. Dump Out The Hot Water Out Of The Thermos, Pour In the Butter Covered Raw Noodles, And Then Pour In The Chicken Broth. At lunch Time Open Up Your Thermos And You
Got Chicken Soup. Options Add Garlic, And Or Cayenne Pepper.
I am thinking about trying to cook raw sliced potatoes, with gravy and beef chunks in the thermos by heating the sliced potatoes in the gravy and when hot add in the beef, and then dump it all into the thermos, seal it until lunch. with hopes the gravy would
cook the potatoes and beef thru by lunch time. I am thinking I will need to partially cook the meat chunks in a fry pan to get them some what hot.
