I was watching Worst Cook In America On Food Network Today, And one of the cooks was trying to make Dishwasher Salmon where you put the salmon in the dishwasher and allow it to cook.

then I searched the Internet to see if they had a recipe for it.

YOu try it first... Salmon is too expensive to try a new cooking method on! If you try it let me know... I love salmon... I trust your opinion!

I have actually made this, well the salmon not the sauce. The idea has been around forever. It isn't very practical the way I'd do it because I would be running my dishwasher with nothing but the salmon in it. You can get the same result with a steamer.

The Jet Dry left spots on my salmon.

Sorry King-not for me. I stick with other methods to cook salmon. Especially-here in Colo-it is expensive. LOL!

Its kind of like the auto cooking craze from about ten years back. Folks were cooking food by wrapping it and sticking it on the engines of their cars, then driving and dining....good grief.

Not as bad as the roofers who cook their lunches wrapped mult. times and sealed in foil and then immersed in the hot tar. I would rather eat salmon from the dishwasher.

Raedwulf when I was in the army we did that with C Rations And MREs. Now Days The MREs Come With A Chemical Warming Pack (Just add water and it heats up to warm your meal)

It took me 6 years as a Marine wife to even attempt an MRE, and they weren't half bad...but salmon in a dishwasher...uh, no!
