This morning I seen that Foodlion Changed There Sale Paper, And The Sale Ends Today, From .69 cents a lb for Jennie-O turkey to 0.45 Cents a Lb. So me and sue took a Trip up to foodlion, and picked up two 20lb turkeys. One for thanksgiving, and one for Christmas. The Jennie-O turkey is self basting, and I never had a Jennie-O turkey before so we will see.

One other Thing I seen when I was there at the store was College Inn Turkey Broth. I never seen turkey broth before, and I did not buy any because I am going to use the chicken stock I make when Roasting Chicken. I just thought it was interesting.

It does contain Wheat, Milk, Soy, Egg however and some may have issues with them. Not sure why they would put them in there, more so when people have issues with them.

Here Is There Ad About The Turkey Broth.

No more holiday gravy anxiety! Our secret to mistake-proof saucy goodness is available October through December, in convenient resealable cartons—use just as much as you need and save the rest for later.

Hey, I SEEN that, TO! Yes, sometimes the spelling/grammar police force is on patrol. Wonder if you will get a "nasty-gram"?

What the heck, why does turkey broth have to have wheat in it? I would say, "this is why I can't have nice things," but I would never buy premade stocks... I don't trust any meaty things that are left at room temperature and plus, 950mg of sodium, REALLY? Total ick.

> "why does turkey broth have to have wheat in it?" I think it is because they put soy sauce in it, and the soy sauce has Wheat in it. I did think the sodium was rather high also.

Might also be because of the soy sauce. IMHO, soy sauce actually tastes better without wheat- it's called Tamari and it's traditional in Japan. It's stronger for sure. It's actually the egg yolks that really weirds me out.

I buy Jennie-O turkey breasts all the time, it's the only turkey my husband will eat, very moist and tasty, I usually do them on the BBQ to free up oven space for the sides, we were fortunate this year Thanksgiving was in the high 70's so it was great BBQ weather, Canadian Thanksgiving was October 10th.

I know, my sister owns some property up in Canada, they go up there every year for Deer And Moose hunting. They love it in Canada.
