Strawberry Dream Cake I

I used this recipe and made star shaped cupcakes for the fourth of July. I used store bought vanilla icing and decorated them with red white and blue sprinkles. Everyone loved them!

Soooooooo good with pickles and mustard. Made them for super bowl and then again on a beach trip. The second time I didn't measure and put to much mayo in, it really doesn't need very much. Really yummy.

Cheesecake Brownies

I made this for my graduation party and it was so easy to assemble! I didn't have a lot of time and this was perfect. I didn't get to have any at the party but my friends and family raved about it. I put it on eggs the next morning and it rocked!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

My boyfriend LOVED this. I skewered the shrimp with grape tomatoes bell peppers and onions and soaked them all in the marinade. I made about 12 of these and I only ate 2 because my boyfriend DEVOURED the other 10. Delicious

Spinach and Potato Frittata

Wonderful dish! I used frozen hash browns instead of potatoes and I basically doubled the recipe for a big group. I was worried that it wasn't going to cook right because the top was liquid and the sides were a little to brown but I just let it keep cooking and it was perfect. Especially the crispy brown edges!

Artichoke Bruschetta

Delicious! I added a can of diced tomatoes, drained. I only used about 2 tbs of mayo and I brushed the bread with olive oil and broiled it until it was crispy. Yummy yum!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Delicious! I made this on a snowy day when my family just wanted some comfort food. The chicken was moist and tender. I added frozen carrots and peas and used chicken broth instead of water. AWESOME!

Baked Potato Skins

Loved this! The oil and spices on the skins really make this dish, they were crunchy and delicious! Made it for the super bowl and everyone loved it. I did add a little potato back into the skin with the bacon mixed, with butter... YUM! It turned it into a sort of twice baked potato/potato skin.

Pierogi (Polish Dumplings)

The dough recipe for these pierogi's is my go to recipe. I make them every new years as a tradition and my family and friends love them; especially my Polish boyfriend. It is very time consuming but completely worth it. Be ready to commit a whole day to preparing them. After boiling I saute them in a pan with butter and sweet yellow onion. Try topping them with sour cream alone or mixed with horseradish. YUMMY!
