Beef Stew VI

This was some darn good beef stew! I deviated from the recipe. I coated the beef in flour before browning in the pot. I browned the beef and put the flour used for coating into the pot with 1 box and one can of beef broth. (I also find bouillon too salty.) The flour made for an amazing stew gravy. I only simmered the beef for 40 mins. before adding the vegetables. Instead of celery, I used one green bell pepper cut to about 3/4" size. Because I used the flour in the gravy, I skipped the corn starch (cs makes things too gelatinous for my taste.)

Banana Peanut Butter Bread

Kinda dry. Next time I will make it with 3 eggs and add 2 Tbsp of brown sugar.

Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting

Ideal for a fruit pound cake. I made it to frost a peach pound cake and it complimented the flavor of the cake perfectly. Luscious!
