Sour Cherry Pie
Best tasting and most beautiful pie I've ever made (and I've made a lot in my 66 years). I made it exactly like the recipe except that I brushed the top with milk and sprinkled sugar over it.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
We love potato soup, but this is the best I've ever made. The quality of the ham probably has a lot to do with the success of this recipe. I just happened to have some very good ham left over from Christmas when I made it. I used Better Than Bouillon instead of granules, but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly.

Too Much Chocolate Cake
This was so unique and delicious. I followed the recipe except I used 4 tsp flour. Before our two guests arrived I measured out the ingredients and mixed the dry and liquid ingredients separately. Then I waited until we'd finished the main meal before mixing it all together and cooking it. Topped it with ice cream and a little toasted coconut. Everyone raved. I don't think I could make this for more than four people since it takes some time to turn out each little cake after it's finished cooking and put the ice cream on it - because the little custard dishes are so hot. The one thing I might change is trying to coat the cups with butter and sugar instead of flour. It would have been prettier, but I don't know if it would fall out as easily as it did with flour. But with ice cream on it, no one could tell.
