I have been using this recipe since 1964. only we had a black walnut tree so we used black walnuts instead of the pecans. gives it an unusually extra punch.

Chess Pie

I did not care for this recipe. After reading reviews, I adjusted the baking time by 20 minutes, still was not done, so I thought, ok, I cannot eat it this way, so I put it back in the oven and changed the temp to 325 for another 30 minutes, finally, I gave up. Pie has not set.
