Guluptsie (Cabbage Rolls)

Leave out the venison/beef and pork and increase rice abit. I could eat these 24/7 and never tire of them. Top with sour cream and a sprinkling of chopped up salt pork and I am whisked back to memories of Baba's meals. Add some borscht and we are all set. I have never visited my familiy's homeland, the Ukraine, but imagine eating Holupchi over there when I prepare these!

The Absolute Best Potato Soup

This really came close to my favorite potato soup at one of the local restaurants. I added real garlic, 1 tbls of sour cream, Emeril's Essence ( 4 BAMS) and a cup of shredded sharp cheddar. I think i just need a little dill to make it "spot on". Thanks for the start to the best potato soup ever!

Bear's Bodacious Bean Bonanza

4 stars cuz i thought it was a soup recipie, it took along time and i almost grew outta the pot i was using!!! And what the heck are Fordfork limas? I can't even find 'em on google! Other review helped..i omitted the honey and added salt and Emeril's Essence. Not a big green pepper fan so only used 1/2 of one. I sauted my onion, carrots, celery and 1.5 teas. of minced garlic before adding the non-Fordfork limas! Next time i will add Market Day brand roasted corn and pepper blend cuz i will use a huge caldron. We have enough for several days and they are really really good! A keeper on my regular recipe list!

Easy Roasted Pork

Turned out great! Ii usede a rack of pork, took ideas from reviews and rubbed garlic powder, season salt, fresh ground pepper, PLUS Emeril's Essence (my staple for all foods) and a few shakes of soy sauce. turned out very moist, tender and not too sweet! Thanks!

Marinated Pork Roast

5 stars! I omitted the gr. pepper and subbed the white sugar for brown. Also added a BAM or two of Emeril's Essence. Even the picky eaters wanted more! Next time I will get dbl the pork though as there was nothing leftover!

Famous Pork Chops

I didn't have Ritz, so used seasoned bread crumbs. Used Garlic powder and onion powder, season salt, and a few "Bams" of Emeril's seasoning. I put half these seasonings in the egg wash and 1/2 in the crumbs. Used 1/2 the butter around rather than ontop. I also "double dipped" the chops - egg/crumbs/egg/crumbs. Baked covered for 25 mins. (4 1 in boneless) and 20 uncovered then 2.5 min each side under broiler. I make pretty good pork chops anyway but everyone LOVED these. Can't wait to try with the flavored Ritz like other reviews.
