Made it as written the first time and as others had noted was just a bit to much chocolate. The second time I used half milk chocolate, half semisweet and it was awesome. Then I made what my family now calls "the worlds best maple nut fudge". I used white chcolate chips and added 3 tsp of maple flavoring (Mapeline) at the end. It is softer setting than the chocolate but still can be cut. I might decrease the amount of butter a little bit the next time. The addition of the chopped walnuts takes it over the top. Its as good as the maple fudge that I purchase at our local candy store, where everything is homemade. Now I am looking for peanut butter chips to make PB fudge. Thanks Dana for posting this recipe!
