Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
This were delicious! I'd give it more than 5 stars if I honestly good! If any one gave them under a 5 star rating they have no clue what they were talking about! I used smaller loaf pans - 5.75"x3" so mine were smaller and I needed more things to put this mix in since it was a lot which is where muffins came in play. If you do it in the form of a muffin or a smaller loaf pan 20-25 minutes is all you'll need. This will make some yummy breakfasts and snacks. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Traditional Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
My husband and I loved these mash potatoes!! They were so fluffy and delicious we couldn't help but eat a ton of them. The only thing we did is add some garlic salt to suit our tastes. Delicious.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
I followed the recipe completely and absolutely LOVED this dish! It tasted wonderful. I see no need to edit or improve it because it tasted fine by itself. Of course I think putting it in a smaller dish than a 9X13 (like a round 9 inch) would have been a better choice.

Breakfast Enchiladas

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
Oddly enough I'm the odd review out. However that is because if you're like me and possibly sensitive to spicy tastes this might upset you as well. I didn't use green chile enchilada sauce, I used regular enchilada sauce that was mild. The can diced green chile peppers was enough to make it too spicy for me. 28 ounce can of enchilada sauce proved to be way too much. I think it will take experimenting to make this taste wonderful, possibly some cooked eggs in it as well as mushrooms and get rid of the chile peppers. I think that it will be something I definitely will modify until I find something to suit my tastes. That being said - my husband didn't mind it, but said it could use some changes as well.

Ham Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
My husband loved this meal, but thought it was even better when he added garlic salt to it afterward. However I didn't enjoy it nearly as much - I guess the creamy/cheese taste bothered me a little. It's not something I dislike that I would never try again though - just tasted different.

Turkey a la King

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
I agree with a lot of these reviews that it is a little bland and missing something. My issue is following the instructions I could never get this recipe to thicken so we wound up adding some corn starch to lessen the liquid. I also added garlic salt to help it out with flavor but I'd suggest experimenting with some other herbs you know and love in this. I'd suggest carrots like someone else did - I really wish I noticed someone added it before I finished because it would have been an enjoyable addition. Corn wouldn't hurt as well. With some experimenting this dish would rate higher, as it was it wasn't the best. Good, but room to improve. I added this to crescent rolls. It seemed to work nicely. Definitely used some of our leftover turkey which helped.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
I personally loved the taste of these, they were very delicious! I did make the mistake of using our electric beater during the whole entire process (my husband told me I shouldn't have done that) so I had to add a little more flour to shape them into balls easier but it turned out just fine! Another person suggested freezing the peanut butter cups before so when you push them in they don't break. I wish I had followed this advice because mine did melt and break a lot when I was pushing them in. 8 minutes is just enough time - any longer and they would have burnt so don't think it's not a lot of time because it's just right!! These are simply tasty. Gave them to our friend for Christmas as well and they loved them.
