About this Cook
I'm a beginner. I have no secret recipes up my sleeve. I'm just trying to find fun and easy things to cook for me and my man. He's a great cook, but I only think it's fair that I learn to cook for him as well. So far I'm graded at a C+. I promised him that I would get better before we get married.
My favorite things to cook
Cookies, chicken, stir fry and grilling veggies.
My cooking triumphs
I made a wonderful chicken with roasted bell pepper alfredo with a side of blanched asparagus. My boyfriend said I'm getting better. That made me feel good.
My cooking tragedies
My cousin and I were hungry for pecan pie around Christmas time. I told him I'll make it and it should be ready in 45 minutes to an hour. After all the ingredients were added and pecans were floating to the top of the pie. I noticed it wasn't cooking right. I turned up the heat and let it cook for 15 more minutes. The pecans were rock hard and the center that's supposed to be ooey gooey; was watery. I forgot to add salt. Who would've thought a little salt makes the whole thing come together. DAMMIT!

Halloween Bloody Baked Rats
It was fun to make, but I ruined it by cooking it on a weird platform with tin foil. I'll try it again with the proper cooking utensils.

Breaded Turkey Breasts
This is such a simple recipe. My boyfriend and I absolutley loved it. For being a bad cook, this one turned out great. My confidence level is high after this one.
