Mayonnaise Biscuits
I have found my new favorite biscuit recipe. These were quick and easy and delicious. I have often made biscuits that were way too dense, but I was happily surprised with this recipe. The biscuits were light and fluffy and cooked in exactly 12 minutes. They remind me of the biscuits you can get at KFC or Popeye's. I used skim milk and they still turned out wonderfully. I did still use real mayo. A definite keeper! Thanks!

Stir and Drop Sugar Cookies I
I'm not normally one to rate recipes, but some of the less than stellar reviews on here led me to it. I loved this recipe! That being said, I did also add 1 tsp. of fresh squeezed lemon juice and dropped the vanilla by half a tsp. It really gave the cookies a lovely lemon flavor. It wasn't too overpowering, but don't do it if you aren't fond of the taste of lemon. Also, make sure to sift the flower and add the zested lemon. My cookie dough was a bit gooey, but held to its place when I dropped the dough onto the baking sheet. The cookies rose nicely and are somewhat cake like. A very refreshing cookie!

Creamed Beef for SOS
I am an Army brat and I have fond memories of my dad making SOS for me in the mornings before school when he was home. I used this recipe today and it was wonderful. Thank you so much for taking the time to put your recipe on here. I didn't drain the beef, but I did use extra lean hamburger meat so that there wasn't quite so much grease in the skillet. :) YUM! (And I think it is BEST over toast...the toastiness is nice with the gravy!)
