Filet with a Merlot Sauce

Too salty. Too expensive. Too time-consuming. Tasted like brown gravy with a little wine flavor. It wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't waste the time or money making it again.

Real Texas Chili

We loved this recipe. I only used 1 can broth because we like thick chili. I added hot sauce because we like things really spicy. Friends are already requesting the recipe.

Chai Tea Mix

I LOVE this mix. It is better than the Tazo Chai I tried at our local Starbucks. Next time I'll leave out the cloves, because cloves tend to overpower the taste. I added 1/2 t. white pepper and 1 t. allspice. I also used decaffienated tea. I didn't add the cardomom because it was too expensive. My husband and I love a cup made with skim milk each evening. I gave jars to my girlfriends and received rave reviews and recipe requests from each of them.

Brisket with BBQ Sauce

Family and friends demanded this recipe. It is SO good. I used celery salt but changed the garlic salt to garlic powder and used half the amount. I also doubled the sauce because it's so tangy and delicious everyone wanted lots of sauce.

Baked Pineapple

Generally I HATE pineapple, but I LOVED this dish. It is especially good with ham. I couldn't believe I wanted seconds! Easy and delicious, what more could you ask from a recipe?

Double Chocolate Chip Macadamia Cookies

Excellent recipe. I used 1/2 c. white chocolate chips, 1/2 c. semisweet M&M pieces and 1 c. milk chocolate chips, plus the 1 c. macadamia nuts. My family and friends loved them. Crispy on the outer edge, chewy in the middle.
