Best Ever Party Appetizer

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
This did not disappoint! I brought it to a New Year's party and got rave reviews. I used many of the suggestions posted by others. I did not try and slice the cheese, I just chopped it into rough cubes. I used 1tbsp of the sun-dried tomato oil in place of 1tbsp of olive oil. I minced the garlic and threw it right in. I put it in a big plastic container so I could shake it up through the day. When I was ready to put it into a serving dish, I mixed it up so the consistency was like a spread. It was so fresh and awesome on baguette!

Crunchy Romaine Toss

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
This is an awesome salad! I brought it to a friend's and everyone loved it. As others suggested, I used toasted slivered almonds, added dried cranberries and used half the sugar. This is definitely a keeper. I'm going to make it to go along with Easter dinner. Thanks for the recipe!

Keon's Slow Cooker Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
We thought this was an awesome recipe. I agree, there was a lot of sauce so more chicken would work well. Next time I may try boneless thighs cut up. I did add a can of chick peas and tripled the curry powder and added more cayenne as we like it hot. It was great and I will definitely make it again. Thanks again for the recipe!

Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
I brought this dip to a friend's house last night for an appetizer and everyone loved it, including my husband and I! I have never made a spinach dip and it was such an easy and delicious recipe. I thought the water chesnuts really made it. I served it in a hollowed out round pumpernickle bread. I cut another pumpernickle bread for dipping. Thank you for this awesome recipe!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
This was a fabulous slow cooker recipe--restaurant quality (or better!) My whole family loved it and we all took it for lunch the next day. I shredded a deli chicken which made the prep even easier. I also used chicken broth instead of water. The sour cream and corn chips were a nice touch when serving.

Coq au Vin alla Italiana

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
This is a fabulous recipe. As other people suggested, I cooked the sausage, chicken and vegetables in stages before putting them all together to simmer in a big pot. I used hot Italian sausage and we spooned this dish over buttered egg noodles--excellent!

Apple Sweet Potato Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
We had 20 people for Christmas dinner. I took a culinary risk and made this recipe for the first time!! It turned out perfectly and everyone loved it! I added a diced onion and some cinammon. Someone recommended doing the sweet potatoes in the microwave and then peeling them. This made the recipe so easy.
