Okay, these are melt your face off good. For those couple reviews I read that said these were not good, I'm not sure what recipe you used cause it wasn't this one. I did have to make a substitution based on what I had in the kitchen. Instead of 1/2 C. butter I used 1/2 C. butter flavored crisco and hoped for the best since I normally bake with unsalted butter for everything. This was so not a problem. I also read where folks suggested to mix by hand, after I had already used my mixer but sparingly. This was also not an issue. No frosting. I did coat my pan with a quick spray of non-stick stuff and then shook a bit of flour and then cocoa powder in the bottom of the pan. These brownies are superb!
