Kohlrabi with White Sauce
I give this a "3" as overall, it was a good recipe. I liked the texture of the kohlrabi cooked, as I have always ate it raw with a little salt, like a radish. I took others advice and cut the pepper in half and the teaspoon seemed to give it a good pepper kick. I'm not a big fan of nutmeg, so I did not enjoy this like I thought I would. I will definitely try again, but omit the nutmeg and maybe add some red pepper, and maybe thyme and basil. Thanks for giving me something new to try! I am always looking for something different.

Pike's Gooey Syrup
Wonderful topping over anything. Last night, I prepared a box (white)cake mix, poured the prepared gooey syrup in the middle and baked according to the box directions. I did have to bake a few minutes longer, but it turned out like an apple cinnamon coffee cake. Very Yummy! I've also poured it over cheesecake. What an easy way to spruce up box mixes if you're in a hurry. I used granny smith apples and walnuts, as that was what I had on hand. Thanks.

Cajun Seafood Pasta
This recipe is wonderful. I can't get enough! I did make it the second time with 1/2 the red, white, and black peppers. I also sauteed green pepper, green onions, and mushrooms in a little butter and added to the sauce. Just adds that much more. Thank you for a great recipe.
