Peanut Butter Breakfast Syrup

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2014
I am a peanut butter fanatic, something that I passed to my kids. I made this this morning because we ran out of regular syrup. We like peanut butter on our waffles and pancakes anyway so I thought why not look for a recipe that combines both? This was very easy to put together not to mention with ingredients we always have on hand. I did use half brown sugar and half regular sugar after seeing it in a different recipe elsewhere (along with butter but I figured we'd better pace ourselves) whole milk and plain ol' brand name peanut butter. Great recipe and I'm positive I'll be making it again.

Italian Dressing Mix

I used garlic powder and celery seed instead of what was listed and also was out of thyme. I didn't mess with the salt because of not using celery or garlic salt and it was perfect. Will make again.

Super Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2011
5 stars for being simple with few ingredients. It definitely is orange! I don't know why the other reviews said to halve things, keep in mind it is 6 oz of OJ and a normal add-three-cans-water concentrate is 12oz. I used 6 boneless skinless thighs I got on sale and this was the perfect amount of sauce. Great as is, and I think next time I'll bread and fry chicken pieces and top with this sauce for a crunchier version. Thanks for easy cheap Chinese food! ***side note - seems to be a milder orange flavor the day after***

Cheeseburger Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2011
Absolutely wonderful! Didn't have enough cheddar so added velveeta and left out the sour cream but still tasted awesome. Oh also added about 1 tsp salt and increased everything a bit so I'd have leftovers. But I'm sure its wonderful without me muddling the recipe :)

Texas Hash

Good stuff! Bf really liked it which doesn't always happen when I try new recipes. I used leftover rice which made prep faster but otherwise followed to specifications. Nice!

Fried Onion Rings

Super simple ingredients, really easy to make and tastes pretty good. May want to increase or add different spices but I like mine a bit saltier. Used a light beer and worked great.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2011
Not bad, doubled the recipe. Wish I would have added vanilla. But for a three ingredient recipe that takes 15 minutes to get a finished treat, pretty handy. I topped my second pan with melted milk chocolate.

Master Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2011
Really good recipe! easy, quick and still tastes great. I made four personal pizzas for each of my four kids (they loved that) I made two thin(er) crusts and two average crusts and each were terrific. I did add garlic and oregano to two crusts but the original was just as good. Will definitely use this recipe again!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
First time ever I've used yeast and these turned out YUMMY! I also used a 9x13 pan but everything else I followed to a T. My mixer has a kneading attachment which helped a lot. I had a can of cream cheese frosting on hand and a dollop of that made the rolls just wonderful, thanks so much this recipe is certainly a keeper!

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
This is definitely true to its name! My 4, 5, and 6 year olds really enjoyed it and so did my 1 1/2 year old! So simple to make, I used Miracle Whip, can't even taste it really but its so moist. I always brine my chicken for at least 1/2 hour which helps the tenderness as well. Most definitely making this again!

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
Wonderful!! Great flavor and very juicy! I only baked mine for 30 minutes however I had smaller chicked breasts so that may make a difference. I didn't have any "Juices" to spoon over like another rater did, at least not enough to even get in a spoon. I always put my chicken breasts in salt water for minimum of 30 minutes and that helps with tenderizing. Served with cheezy peas and fried potatoes. Definitely will do this again!

Miss Betty's Super Quick Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
I just took a batch out of the oven and they are great! I followed the recipe exactly only doubled and brushed melted butter on top. They are a cross between rolls and biscuits and mine didn't quite look the same as the picture but they are fluffy and wonderful! On a side note I used Miracle Whip not real mayonnaise.

Tender Pork Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Definitely something I would make again. I know it sounds repetitive but the roast was very tender and although I was a bit apprehensive about the sauce, it turned out very good! I did add some corn starch also about an hour before serving to thicken the sauce, otherwise I didn't change a thing and it turned out great!
