Chicken Manicotti Alfredo

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2014
This was so delicious. It really hit the spot. I change a few things but not because it needed it. I boiled the chicken in salt water and shredded it. I also sweated chopped onions and garlic in the butter before adding the cream, which I used fat free half & half. LOVED IT!

Yummy and not too sweet. Takes a while to make but worth it with ice cream fruit and whip cream.

This is so delicious. I didn't add the ham nor did it need it. This is incredibly fast and easy.

Cola-Brined Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
I only added 1tbs of salt to the chicken and coke which I thought was perfect. I didn't pat the chicken dry after darining out the coke cause I didn't see it making a difference. The chicken came out great kind of like bourbon chicken.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
Instead of canned chicked I boiled 3 chicken breast and shred them. I used added crumbled blue cheese & blue cheese dressing. I liked it, my hubby was iffy. I think its cause the Franks Hot Sauce gives and itchy feeling in your throat. Maybe I need to find one is more subtle yet still spicy.

Lomo de Res, Cuban-Style Rib-Eye Steaks

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
I liked it but the Hubby and son said they could taste the beer. Maybe because I used corona which is a bit bitter. Next time I'll use a pale ale and orange slices or juice.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
Very good but like others I boiled the garlic cloves with the potatoes and mushed it all together. When cooking you really shouldn't measure your seasonings as mentioned on recipes. You should sprinkle and taste until it's good according to your own taste buds. ~Thanks~

Grilled Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
For years I've wanted to make jalapeño poppers and I finally did today. In another recipe someone suggested boiling the bacon to lose some if the grease but I realized that you shouldn't because it loses taste also. Just use turkey bacon. It doesn't leave them as greasy should you choose to make them in the oven. ~Thanks~

Pleasant Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2010
This recipe is perfect as it is but because I like to experiment when cooking I did the following: I added the paprika at the same time as salt & pepper. Along w/ the onions I also sautee red & green onions, orange bell peppers and spinach. After removing the excess fat from the browner pork chops I added back the onion mixture, light sour cream and half & half. Simmered it for a few minutes and Bon Appetite!!

This was DELISH! I love how its sooo easy and quick to do. Next time I'll add a bit of milk to make it creamier. Plus this recipe will turn out great with any cheese you have in your fridge. I even used sliced american cheese and everyone lived it.

It was good. Nothing out of this world. I did use ricotta cheese instead of cottage. It was like eating lasagna but not.

Mini Meatball Subs

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
I'm a new member to Allrecipes and so far this is the #1 recipe I've made from here. It won't make a difference if you don't add the onions and green peppers. I used Ritz Crackers and boy did the meatballs taste great. I think I'll use Ritz when making meatloaf too.

Spaghetti Salad II

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
Like others I didn't add the sesame and poppy seeds but I did cut a block of mozzarella cheese into cubes and shaved parmesam cheese instead of grated. 1 whole bottle of dressing is not necessary. It wasn't a "WOW" dish but it is delicious and refreshing. I will make it again.
