Fasoliyyeh Bi Z-Zayt (Syrian Green Beans with Olive Oil)

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2006
Like others were saying, I never thought of cooking my green beans this way. I used whole green and wax beans, frozen. I also put on a little garlic powder with the salt (kosher). I will make this again soon.

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2005
Everything I make seems to be 5 stars! I used Muellers reduced carb lasagna noodles, it only took 9, not 12. I also doubled the sauce and the cheese as previously recommended. I put a liitle wine in my sauce and left out the sugar. Yum!

Make Ahead Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2004
At first, I thought this wasn't going to turn out. I had made the mix a week ahead, and it was a solidified hunk when I got it out. I microwaved each cup of mix for about 30 seconds, and it got soft again. The cookies were so good I had to make extras for me and my husband! (Was making them for a cookie exchange at work). I am going to se the leftover mix to try some of the other recipes, I was able to get about 28 cookies out of each batch instead of 12.

The Great Pumpkin Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2004
This was pretty good, but the texture was a bit lighter than I'm used to with pumpkin pie. I made my own crust with walnuts, butter, and a bit of flour. I think next time I make a pumpkin pie, I will use a regular sugar recipe and just sub Splenda for the sugar.

Beer Cheese Dip II

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2004
I followed the suggestions about using velveeta, adding green onions, and microwaving. Took to a party with onion bagel pieces. No one said anything, but it was all gone and it wasn't that big of a party. I loved it.

Italian Bread Baked on a Pizza Stone

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2004
I made this to take to a party, and it was gone before I had a few bites. I put kosher salt on the top before baking. Mine turned out a little flat, too, but was still very good. Next time I will double the recipe.

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2003
Made this with dinner last night-was great. My husband didn't like it because he doesn't like "sweet" dressing. I used baby spinach and splenda instead of sugar. Also tossed in some blueberries. Yum.

Egg and Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2003
I made this for dinner last night and my husband and I ate over half the pan. I added feta instead on mozzerella and added chopped onions, tomatoes and olives like an omlet. Very Tasty!

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2003
Made this soup for a friend in chemotherapy, but it smelled so good I had a small bowl.....I am making a pot for us tommorrow! Best soup I have ever had. I added a can of green beans and a small tomato. Excellent! Also a bit of fresh ground pepper and the juice from the chicken pan.

Scallops with White Wine Sauce I

Reviewed: May 18, 2003
I made this for my husband with some fresh green beans and a salad. He loved it! I thought it was good, but now he is always after me to make the sauce for other purposes, like on filet mignons. I thought the scallops were done just right in thr broiler! I will make this again for company.

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

I brought a loaf of this to work and was told by one co-worker that it was "orgasmic". I added a bit of clove to it and peanut butter chips too. It was awesome.
