Baked Teriyaki Chicken w/Orzo

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2013
I was out of cornstarch, so I used flour (suggested substitute simmered longer) and I also used chix tenderloins. Also, used garlic powder since I was out of minced garlic. It was fantastic. Perfect amount of spicy and sweet. Paired with some honey carrots and brocolli and cheese. Fantastic meal, and even my picky 5 year old love it!

Cheese Soup with Broccoli

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2012
Absolutely yummy. I don't keep processed cheese on hand, so I used a lb. of sharp cheddar instead. I also made my own broth, and it was a little salty. So next time I will only use two boullion cubes instead of three. I also used a lb. of broccoli and no celery. It was really close to Panera's soup! Very tasty, and will definitely make again! Served in homemade bread bowls!

Italian Bread Bowls

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2012
I really liked these. I only had white wheat flour, so I think that may have affected my overall bread. It was a little dry, and I think I will use quite a bit more salt next time. I made brocolli cheese soup to fill these with! Very tasty!

Miss Betty's Super Quick Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
These just did not go well for me. They were way to dense, and the outsides were crunchy. I added a dab of honey and some salt, but they were completely bland. Decent enough if you don't have time for a dough to rise.

Spooky Witches' Fingers

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2011
LOVE THIS RECIPE! The taste reminds me of butter cookies you get at Christmas time. Very tasty, and easy to make as well. I was surprised how realistic they looked in my picture! The definitely double in thickness when you cook them, but they turned out wonderful. Next time I want to dry adding the wart and blood at the severed end. My husband ran to work with a bunch for his employees today...I better hide the rest.

Manicotti

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
very tasty...I substituted half the mozarella for monterey jack and was short some of the parm because we don't buy the grated stuff anymore...i love manicotti as it reminds me of my mom's i also use the jumbo shells over the tubes because they are easier to stuff and don't break

Savory Vegetable Beef Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
Amazing stew recipe. I actually add in a pound of peas, larger potatoes, and some corn (in my second batch). Positively wonderful. Great cold weather food, and I have plenty to share! I love the green peppers in this recipe. And I plan to add in some macaroni noodles as well. I also have to add in some extra beef broth because my husband is not much on tomato anything...plus with my bigger potatoes and extra vegies I need a little more liquid. I love the Italian Dressing as well! I will continue to make this a lot!

Strawberry Fruit Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
Just like the ones I used to make with my mom as a kid. I never could find her recipe, and I am so thankful it was on here! I don't do the stems, only one year, but I didn't need them on there, just like the ones I had as a kid without them..Thank you! And so easy!

Chicken Scampi II

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2010
Very Tasty! was a wonderful pasta dish. I added the green and red peppers and onions per the other reviews, and the 1/2 cup of white wine as well (I used pinot grigio because I prefer sweeter), but I think I will increase it to 3/4 cup next time and double the whole sauce because it was that good! Thanks for such a wonderful recipe, I think I'm going to use this for shrimp scampi as well.
