Dominican Style Oatmeal
yummy....I did just what it said and I added a very ripe peach (skinned and diced) while it was cooking...peaches and cream! I always made oat meal with water (probably 'cause it's cheaper) and then in individual bowls added butter and milk, sugar....well cooking this way is much creamer and I feel uses less sugar because of the richness of the milk and no butter! I would make cream of wheat the same way with water until my husband cooked it in milk instead and added vanilla...well wow, the best cream of wheat ever...except a little to thick so sense then I've always made it half milk/ half water and it's perfect, a little splash of milk in the end is always nice too...and butter and sugar..... But this oatmeal is Delicious, I won't give up the other 100's of ways to cook OATS but I will make this often, I LOVE OATS all different ways. Thanks you for this simple, easy, deliciousness comforting way!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup
We loved the flavor of the soup. We went with the mild sause and used only half of the chili powder so my toddlers wouldn’t complain of it being spicy (thou I love Spicy!). I gave it four stars rather than 5 because it needs more consistency, so like others I added black beans and white rice, then delish! Yummy! Plus the extra topping made is sooo good; I never new putting a squeeze of limejuice in your bowl would give you a totally new enhanced flavor! We made a double batch (and we too added the frozen breast in the crock pot) on Sunday and now its Thursday and I just ate the last bowel at lunch! We love it.

Salmon Patties II
I think this recipe is great as is or to add a little spice per your flavor preference. I love that this uses the self rising flour rather than corn meal or bread crumbs. I can flatten these patties out real thin and they still puff up nicely. My Kids LOVE these. I sautéed a little onion and put in a little old bay seasoning and they were fantastic! The Kids call them “Fish Cookies” (they are 2 and 4years old). Also, don’t fret if you don’t have self rising flour, make your own. It’s a ratio; for each cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
