Best Ever Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
good! I made these into banana/chocolate chip muffins by adding two mashed banana's and chocolate chips before putting them into the pan, the banana was a nice hint but it wasn't too obvious, so adding one or two more wouldn't hurt.

Blueberry Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
These are great as they are, when you have what you need for them! Today however, I did not, and so I'm making them into cherry/almond bars with cream cheese glaze. Just switched the blueberry pie filling to cherry, sprinkled sliced almonds over the top, and added cream cheese glaze. easy as that and yet a totally new twist, very versatile recipe, love it! Thanks!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
excellent! Instead of doing the icing, I swirled a cream cheese mixture (1 8 ounce package cream cheese, 1 egg, and a half cup of sugar) into the brownie batter after I'd spread it into the pan. thanks for an awesome recipe! It's a keeper for sure!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
Okay maybe I'm a little too eager writing this before I've even dipped them but I'm making white cake with cream cheese frosting, I just tasted a bit and then had to put the mixture into the fridge (as I read is a good thing to do before forming the balls) just so I won't eat the whole thing! So even if everything else were to fail, they'd still be amazing! They smell incredible and taste just like they smell!

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2010
very, very, good! I added Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt/pepper, a little bit of water, and some onion, and these turned out fabulous. My family had been nervous about the ground turkey, but they loved it. Thanks for a great recipe!

Brownie Biscotti

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
Okay, so at first I wasn't sure about these, the dough was really sticky and a little hard to work with but once I baked it, it became very nice and not very crumbly at all. I glazed it with a raspberry glaze, they are so pretty!

Chocolate Mousse Torte

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
I made this in a spring form pan easily, by putting the cookies on the bottom and side, then the cream cheese layer and then the mousse layer, it worked beautifully! I took it to church and it was gone almost instantly! I really enjoyed making it too! All around GREAT recipe! You must try it!

Mocha Chiffon Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2010
Very nice cake recipe. This was my first try at chiffon cake and I was very pleased with how it turned out. It came easily out of the pan after being loosened just a bit. I couldn't really taste a significant amount of coffee flavor, so I glazed it with an orange glaze so that even if there was a hint of coffee, it would still blend well with the kick of orange. I then topped it with hazelnuts. :) It looks lovely. Thanks for the recipe!

Autumn Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
Oh my goodness. I don't think this could get any better, I made it exactly as the recipe says to, and it turned out amazingly! The flavors all work together SO perfectly! You need to use non-juicy apples, though, I think that's why some people had trouble with juicyness, just use baking apples, and it should all be cool! But anyway, this is absolutely amazing and I'm SO glad I tried it!!

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
Very good brownie-like cookies. I replaced white chocolate chips with pb chips, since chocolate pb is such a great flavor combo. These really rock. The only thing was the appearance, they didn't flatten out as much as I would have liked them to, but they still taste awesome.

this is really good! I used milk instead of water to make it creamier and richer, it was awesome! I love the perfect balance of lemon and chicken flavor. Mmmm!

Sunday Morning Lemon Poppy Seed Pancakes

Reviewed: May 7, 2011
Ahhhhmazing! This was such a fun recipe to make, and they turned out so well! Fluffy and perfectly balanced flavors. I was going to make a blueberry topping but then realized we didn't have as many blueberries on hand as I thought, so I made a lemon/cream cheese topping instead. Mmm, the family raved. Thanks for an Awesome recipe!
