I'm a teenage chef in training.I love to cook, I make dinner for the family often, but more than anything, I LOVE baking! Biscotti, especially, since this would be a big part of my biggest dream, which is: owning my own cute little cafe' someday! I love visiting cafe's, I love the atmosphere, the full bakery case, and especially frozen coffee drinks! Running my very own just seems so spectacular to me! However, I'm keeping my eyes wide open and staying focused on learning in all the culinary areas, even the health aspect of it! Food is a passion for me, every day I wake up and think "so what can I make today?" :)
My favorite things to cook
Pretty much anything! I'm always ready to try something new, because I just want to know how to do it and be capable of it and just because I enjoy doing anything culinary, from baking to cooking to candy making, and anywhere in between!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love baking Christmas cookies every year, also we go up to a cabin for a week every year and MUST have my moms famous lasagna, which she and I now make together.
My cooking triumphs
There have been a few... like one time I made these pretty cool mini pumpkin cheesecakes with pecans, they were pretty!
My cooking tragedies
I don't know how I do it, but whipping cream is always either a big success or a brutal failure for me, which always makes me nervous when I see it in recipes! Maybe some day I'll learn the art of whipping cream... that would be nice...
