Hello Fellow Bakers/Cooks/Eaters,
I'm so excited right now. I just came up with a "winner" recipe! That is, if you're a fan of Snickers candy bars. I certainly am, which is part of the reason I created this recipe! It starts with a peanut butter cookie crust, then moves on to a gooey, unbelievably awesome, caramel layer, which is topped with chopped peanuts (similar to the candy bar) then, we finally move on to the good stuff. Cheesecake. First, we've got this layer of chocolate cheesecake, and after that we hit it up with a peanut butter cheesecake layer. After this, we find a chocolate ganache topping, and some more chopped peanuts! This is very, very, similar tasting to the candy bar. So if you're a fan, I hope you'll try it!
I'm going to take it to a meal at church tomorrow, hopefully it will dissappear quickly :-)
Here's the link:<  Enjoy, guys!

Looks very decadent, I prefer Mars over Snickers, I would have to try both to decide which one is best. Too bad I am dieting and will be all this summer, perhaps when I reach my goal this will be my treat at the end. Thanks for sharing and keep on creating.

I'm looking for a cheesecake recipe that is more cake like than dense like a normal cheesecake. My dad remembers one from a bakery in our neighborhood that has been out of business for years. Anyone have any recipe like this, please?

Hi--I am making the cheesecake bars for a party this weekend, and I noticed in your photo you added fresh blueberries to the recipe. Did you have to increase the baking time? BTW--your desserts look gorgeous!

About Me
I'm a teenage chef in training.I love to cook, I make dinner for the family often, but more than anything, I LOVE baking! Biscotti, especially, since this would be a big part of my biggest dream, which is: owning my own cute little cafe' someday! I love visiting cafe's, I love the atmosphere, the full bakery case, and especially frozen coffee drinks! Running my very own just seems so spectacular to me! However, I'm keeping my eyes wide open and staying focused on learning in all the culinary areas, even the health aspect of it! Food is a passion for me, every day I wake up and think "so what can I make today?" :)
My favorite things to cook
Pretty much anything! I'm always ready to try something new, because I just want to know how to do it and be capable of it and just because I enjoy doing anything culinary, from baking to cooking to candy making, and anywhere in between!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love baking Christmas cookies every year, also we go up to a cabin for a week every year and MUST have my moms famous lasagna, which she and I now make together.
My cooking triumphs
There have been a few... like one time I made these pretty cool mini pumpkin cheesecakes with pecans, they were pretty!
My cooking tragedies
I don't know how I do it, but whipping cream is always either a big success or a brutal failure for me, which always makes me nervous when I see it in recipes! Maybe some day I'll learn the art of whipping cream... that would be nice...
