Green Enchilada Pork Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2013
Another one for the whole family! We doubled the meat, since we are a meat-y family, and added diced avocado, a dollop of sour cream and some corn chips for garnish. But, you do not need anything else! This is a fabulous alternative to the standard Rotel dip as well!

Grilled Chicken Breasts with Zesty Peanut Sauce

This was a tasty dish, but the cilantro did not work with it! We will probably make this again, but it will not go in our "top recipe" box.

Indonesian Pork Satay

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2013
The whole family loved this! From Daddy down to the babies! We added the marinade and some seame seeds to some green beans for a side and boiled the marinade (added a bit of cornstarch to thicken) to coat and served this over rice. Delicious!

Pecan Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Cream Cheese and Broccoli

You could definately add less butter, but the dish was delicious! The kids all asked for seconds...even the babies. Lol.

Candied Chicken Breasts

A little sweet...you have to be careful what you pair it with. We tried couscous and I think rice would have been a better balance.

Malaysian Beef Rendang

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
Our family did not care for this dish. It was very heavy on the cloves and we do not care for a lot of clove flavor. I am sure that this would be tasty dish to some. I have to say that the meat was tender and the balance of liquid to meat mixture was good to provide enough liquid for the meat not to burn. We used our cast iron wok and it worked perfectly!

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
The whole family enjoyed this! It is a healthy version of a bbq flavored chicken. The only change would be to drain most of the fat before adding the tomatoes, etc. We also used 1/2 olive oil and 1/2 butter and used whole wheat flour...this made it a little healthier to fit our lifestyle.

Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2012
Very easy Ganache! I used semi-sweet, because that is what I had on hand, and it was still yummy!I dipped my chocolate cookies in the ganache, then whipped the rest into a frosting and topped them with that as well and sprinkiled with some mini chips. It was decadent! We are going to pair those with some ice cream for a chocolaty dessert fit for an amazing Grandma on her birthday! We used the Hot Cocoa Cookie recipe by Pip & Ebby floating around on Pinterest.

Moroccan Shabbat Fish

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2012
Like someone else, I tried 200 degrees and ended up cooking at 350 for about 25 additional minutes. Aside from that, the dish was just ok. Not a lot of flavor, so the "fishiness" came out in the talapia, which we didn't even know was possible. The peppers and tomatoes were good!

I am not a huge fan of Indian food, but I enjoyed this dish. My husband and oldest son, who LOVE Indian food said it was fabulous!

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2012
My entire family loved this! Even our 4 year old, who is very picky, said I did good. Our 1 year olds thought it was a little spicy, but that was my fault. The spice is dependant upon how much pepper you season the chicken with. Lol. I was also pleased that the "under 30 minutes" cliam held true. It will definately go into our recipe box!
