Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2006
wonderful recipe! I use fresh mushrooms and omit the potato chips (un-necessary!) and it's always a hit! Also reheats wonderfully for lunches and leftovers! Oh, and I also add 1/2 cup of sour cream to thin it out a little, and add a little extra tang!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2005
This is an amazing cheesecake! I was even told, by my aunt, that this was quite possibly the best dessert she had ever tasted!! I agree, and have already had a request to make it again, less than one week later! I can guarantee you will LOVE this! (oh yeah... I do reccomend using good quality white chocolate - and chopping it yourself - as that is the dominant flavor, and you want it to be wonderful!!

Slow Cooker Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2005
Great recipe! Just needed a little more spices for our tastes - I added some worstechire sauce, browning seasoning, seasoned salt, cajun seasoning, and chili blend seasoning, along with about 1/2 c more ketchup. Turned out wonderful! We all loved all the meat that came off the ham hocks... almost like a barbeque pork/baked beans dish! Thanks for the recipe!

Minnesota's Favorite Cookie

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2005
Great cookies! I loved the brown sugar cookie base - might just become the base for all my 'chocolate chip-type' cookies! I would suggest underbaking them a bit, or removing them immediately from the baking sheet, to avoid crispy cookies... still great, but not our preference! By the way, these freeze GREAT! Great for company! Thanks for the recipe Barb!

Betty's Best Hot Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2005
Great casserole! We omit the potato chips (not neccessary!), which really cuts down on the greasy-ness factor. And if it still seems like it might be too rich, use low-fat mayo! My family LOVES this salad! (and no, it's not a "Sandwich" chicken salad, but would be great with a good green salad on the side and a nice crusty piece of bread! :)

Nordy Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2004
I got this recipe from a friend and have made it often... we stir in the marshmallows and chocolate chips while it's still warm and omit the nuts. It makes a really yummy gooey brownie-like treat that stores, freezes and also ships really well. Great recipe!!
