I took some advise from previous comments and changed this up just a little. Here is what I did:
Added 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar to the cream cheese (I did use the full 2 packages of cream cheese)
Used 11 eggs, but next time I'll use only 10
Used about 1.5 cups of blueberries in the casserole
Used 2 cups of blueberries for the syrup and forgot the butter, but it turned out **fabulous**
I drizzled a bit of the syrup on the cooked casserole and saved the rest to use "as needed" per serving. It does make a LOT, so it would be good for a group.
My husband and I couldn't stop eating it, and even my picky 6 year old daughter liked it. She said it was even better than blueberry pie!
We have a blueberry farm nearby, so we will most definitely be making this a must make recipe every time we go blueberry picking.
