Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2013
Have been using this for several years now. I do add some cinnamon to give it a bit more flavor but it really doesn't need it. I cook for a bit longer to make it thicker. We serve this warm for turkey as well as warm over top a cream cheese block with crackers for an snack while waiting for dinner.

Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2012
Instead of egg, I soak the chicken in buttermilk(vinegar and milk) at least 30 mins, then lift out of liquid and let drain a moment and then dip in dry mixture. Putting the remainder of crumbs on top after dipping all pieces of chicken. I use crisp rice cereal instead of breadcrumbs(what was available) and add some french fried dried onions, crushed, for more flavor. Hope that helps you. I also have egg allergies as well as garlic so it takes some thinking on modifying to keep flavor. We love this recipe as a family. I am rating this a five though I have made changes just because I use to be able to make as is before getting allergies and it is wonderful.

Chewy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2011
I did not care for these, too much butter made it too greasy, butter flavor over powered the coconut flavor also, I will not make these again. My daughter liked them so that is why I rated it a 2 star

Teriyaki Tuna Steaks

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
Tuna came out awesome, the sauce was not very strong though, would like the flavor to come through a bit more, I did not add the garlic because of allergy issues which could be part of the reason, grilled it on a cedar plank, wonderful, we will be making it again
