Brownie Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2013
I think this is the best frosting ever!! I use Hershey's milk chocolate chips and it turns out great every time. It does make a lot of frosting, so depending on how big my batch of brownies are, I will sometimes half the recipe.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2013
Very easy to make. About two hours before it is done, I remove the chicken and shred it, and put it back in the crock pot with the sauce. This seems to add more flavor and helps thicken the sauce. Great recipe!!

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: May 23, 2013
I made this last night for 3 teenage boys and my husband. Everyone LOVED it!! I had to make a few changes because I was lacking a few ingredients. I decided to use two cans of cream of chicken soup after reading the reviews. I did not have two cans, so I used one can of cream of chicken soup and one can of fat free cream of mushroom, and I doubled the milk it called for. I also did not have any bread crumbs on hand, so I used some Ritz crackers I had. I just crumbled them up really fine and sprinkled them on top. I will be making this again, but I don't think I will ever try it with the bread crumbs. The crackers on top were delicious!!! This is a keeper!!

Lazygirl's Ground Turkey Stroganoff

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
This was really good. I did like some of the other reviewers and added some garlic while I was browning the meat. I also added some garlic powder and some onion powder for some extra taste. Next time, I will also add an extra bullion cube. My son said it was one of his favorites!! This woulld also be good served over rice and served with sweet peas. The only reason I am giving this 4 starts is because I had to add so many ingredients to give it the flavor I like. Will be making again =)

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
Very moist and tasty! Loved it! Next time, I would add some walnuts. I like walnuts or pecans in this type of bread. On one of the loves, I made an orange glaze to go on top and it was even better!

Parmesan Crusted Baby Carrots

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
I made it exactly how the recipe states and they were wonderful! We are not big carrot eaters, but these were a huge hit at our house. The cooler the carrots got, the more flavorful they were. I would suggest letting them cool a bit before serving. Not cold, but just not right out of the pan.

'Calabacitas Guisada' (Stewed Mexican Zucchini)

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
Really good! I made mine without the cheese. It has a wonderful taste without it, so I left it off. Will make again!! Would be good with chicken as main course.

Million Dollar Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
Yummy! I really enjoyed this cake and it was easy to make. My husband didn't like the mandarin oranges in the frosting. I, on the other hand, LOVED them in it. This recipe is a keeper!

Enchilada Stuffed Shells

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
This is really good and really easy to make. I did a few things different. I cooked an onion with the ground turkey while browning it, mixed the refried beans with the meat mixture, I used an entire can of refried beans, and after the shells were stuffed and placed in the pan, I poured another can of enchilada sauce over the shells. It was really tasty and not bland like some of the other reviews said. Will cook again!!
