i halved the recipe and made these waffles with a tablespoon of flax seeds and three tablespoons of water instead of an egg. as per a recommendation, i used a bit more sugar, butter, and vanilla as well. they were very pleasing with butter and maple syrup. thank you.

Easy Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

i didn't have any tahini in the house, though i quite like someone's idea of making their own. will try this. roasted my cloves of garlic first, used fresh basil... delicious even without the tahini!

Bisquick® Buttermilk Pancakes

i don't understand how this recipe was too thick for some people, as it was much, much too thin for me. but on my second attempt, i used only one cup of buttermilk, and two eggs instead of just one... simply, simply perfect.

Brunch Scones

this is the only recipe for scones i’ll keep for a while, it’s simple, sweet… mm. note: waking up to a near empty kitchen, i made a few slight changes, such as using chocolate milk and not brushing them with egg, but sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. oh and patting the dough into a circle is easy.
