Ice Cream Cake with Chocolate Ganache
About this Cook
I'm a sophomore in high school and I love to cook, especially baking! I started my love for cooking in my 7th grade home economics class, ever since then I cook constantly and I'm always looking to try new things.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake but I also love to try new things outside of my comfort zone.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking every possible baked good for Christmas when the relatives and family friends come over.
My cooking triumphs
making my first pie all by myself completely from scratch!:) and i love making delicious treats very healthy, very sneaky. if my dad found out that there was applesauce in the oatmeal cookies i make sometimes, he wouldnt even touch them since they are "healthy" haha
My cooking tragedies
oh well im not sure if i will be able to fit all those in here but I think the one that sticks out the most was when i only put a cup of flour into a chocolate chip cookie recipe and the cookies came out in one thin sheet of gooyness

Coconut Crust
This was delicious! I made it as a crust for an ice cream pie. I put a thin layer of ganache on top of the crust, followed by chocolate ice cream and finished it off with whipped topping. It was like a Mounds bar ice cream pie. Someone told me this was actually the *best* crust they ever tasted!

Lower Fat Banana Bread II
this is a very delicious recipe to start considering it is so low in calories and fat but it could use a little more flavor, adding a third banana should do the trick and a little cinnamon would be a nice touch.

Oven Fries
love these! we make them all the time at our house, so easy. we don't usually use the sugar though just a little salt pepper and oil is good for us
