Broccoli Cheese Soup

Very good. I changed it to 24 servings. I will cut the butter in half next time. I added finely chopped garlic instead of powder...added shaved carrots...added mini bow tie pasta. I scooped out the big chunks of broccoli and put in blender, pulsed a few times so there weren't huge chunks of broccoli. Was tasty :)served with a good garlic cheesy bread.

Baked Ziti I

As with others I made some minor changes and it was awesome! Here's what I changed: *added chopped garlic *added red pepper flakes *mixed the sourcream WITH the hot noodles and shredded cheese and added an egg and mixed up (leaving some cheese for layering and top) I used a combo of shredded asiago/parmesan/romano and topped with shredded mozzarella and parmesan mix) *layered sauce/meat mix then noodle mix then cheese then sauce then cheese to top *baked 40 min at recipe recommended temp in a throw away aluminum lasagna pan covered with foil then removed foil for nicely browned cheese top for another ten minutes. Turned out magnifico!

Stuffed Jalapeno Firecrackers

These are soooooo good! I couldn't stop eating them. I folloelwed someone else's suggestion & cooked in oven @ 350 for 25 min on a rack sprayed w veg spray on top of cookie sheet then broil for 3 - 5 min. & put some fresh shredded cheddar on top of cream cheese. I will make these again & again. Easy too! Oh by the way, also used precooked (boxed) bacon & it worked out great :) enjoy!

Shepherd's Pie VI

Love this recipe. I add a can of peas on top of the meat. Can be made ahead & refrigerated overnight. I just bake 35 min if made ahead & was refrigerated. Easy, economical & family loves it.
