Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2014
This was amazing!!! I took other people's suggestions by boiling the peas, carrots, celery and chicken in chicken broth. I also used frozen peas and carrots. Otherwise I followed it to a T. I will absolutely be making this again and again.

This was fantastic! Instead of carrots, I used corn and instead of the tbsp of finely chopped onions I used dried chives! I also dip it in A1 :) I will be making this again and again!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
This was absolutely delicious!!!! I used more broccoli and added 3 cloves of garlic. I listened to another reviewer since the first time It was too thin. I covered the broccoli with THREE cans of chicken broth instead of four. Instead of mixing cornstarch with water, I mixed it with the FOURTH can of chicken broth.

I used a combination of ingrediants from this recipe and the Classic macaroni salad from this site! I also used pepperoncinis instead of jalopenos and it worked out very well!

WOW! This recipe was amazing! I couldn't wait to get to a computer to rate it!! I made this recipe because I wanted to use up my eggs and onions before they went bad and I'm so glad I stumbled across this recipe! It was moist and flavorful!! I also added green peppers because I wanted to use those up too! My entire family raved about this and I will quadruple the recipe next time! it was also phenomenal as a breakfast sandwith and burrito!

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2014
You know it's a good recipe when your hubby immediately goes, "mmmmm" into the first bite!!! It reminded us of a chili cheese burrito from Taco Bell, which is our favorite!! I didn't use the tomato soup and it was still nice and saucy. I also added chili powder and omitted the salt. I baked it in the oven at 350° for 15 min, then served on lettuce. This WILL be a regular for the family meal rotation!!

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2013
I rated this 5 stars with my modifications!!! I used taco seasoning instead of the salt and chili powder. I ommited the butter, definitely didn't need it. I added diced petite tomatoes, green chilis, and refried beans to the meat mixture. I didn't use the crushed tortilla chips either. I used an entire box of jumbo shells, because the meat mixture definitely makes enough for TWO 9 X 13 pans. I froze the other for later! VERY YUMMY and I will be making it again!!!!

The Best Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2013
This was fantastic!!! I sauteed the green pepper, onion, and added 2 cloves of minced garlic in olive olive or butter, until tender, then added the beef. Also, instead of putting the rest of the steak sauce on the top I mixed BBQ sauce, mustard and brown sugar together and poured it over the top!

The Best Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2013
Of course I modified the recipe, as I always do to taste. Instead of dill pickle relish, I chopped up some dill pickles in little pieces. Instead of celery seed, I use actual celery chopped up. I also added some yellow pepper chopped up. Other than that I followed the recipes pretty exact. It was the first time I've ever made potato salad and I was extremely impressed! Very yummy!

Classic Macaroni Salad

I combined this recipe with Kim's Macaroni Salad from this site and it made a PERFECT macaroni salad! I liked the apple cider vinager from Kims better than regular white. I also added pepperoncinis, overall very delicious!

Chicken Crescent Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2013
I really liked the base to this recipe!! I actually slow cooked the chicken with onion, garlic, and chives. I omitted the salt and pepper. Then I shredded it with some low fat cream cream and followed the recipe. I did add broccoli and cauliflower to the soup mixture. All in all very yummy!!! I'm excited to completely modify this by doing a buffalo version!! This recipe give you lots of room to play with and use your imagination. My only con to this recipe is the VERY high in fat and sodium it is. Next time I'll use healthier soup versions.

Slow Cooker Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
This was a great recipe!! I even used the typical blah tasting frozen chicken breasts that come in a bag!! The next day I made tortilla soup from the leftover chicken! I just added the chicken to some chicken broth with some corn, carrots and crunched up tortilla chips!!! YUMMY!!!

Ratatouille Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2014
YES!!!!! A very very flavorful and filling meal!!! Packed full of veggies! I made a couple changes to use up some stuff I have laying around. I added mushrooms, parmesan cheese, a half cup of spaghetti sauce and used the refrigerated cheese ravioli instead. The whole family gobbled it right up!!
