Day 4

Howdy, partners! 

Today we had the Memorial Day barbeque.   Family came from out of state and we had a party around the pool.   Mr. Cookie Momster smoked a brisket overnight in his new Big Green Egg grill.  He also cooked sausage and corn on the cob.  Cooking for family makes him a very happy man. 

We made Potato and Bacon Salad, Oven-Baked Beans, Deviled Eggs, and Greek-Style Green Beans.  We baked Tender Potato Rolls, and rounded out the meal with some fresh fruit and a veggie tray for the health-conscious diners.

For dessert, we made Peach Crisp III and homemade Vanilla Ice Cream I.  We ate, sat around the pool, visited and had a good time.

Now I leave Dallas and travel to San Antonio for some new adventures.  Arrivederci, Dallas!  Next stop, San Antonio.

One thing that I learned is that you will still be using the cropping tool in AR like you do when you submit a food photo, so you need to allow extra room at the edge of your pictures.

Wow! Cookie Momster has really kept you busy! The food looks delicious and what fun shopping at the farmer's market. Travel safe, Luigi! Can't wait to hear about San Antonio!
