Charleston is a beautiful city and I had a wonderful time walking around downtown taking in the beauty.  I was stopped by numerous people wanting to know what a famous Italian chef was doing walking around with a crazy pup (he insisted on coming along)!  Kylee first took me downtown to see the beautiful old homes that overlook the water.  Ft. Sumter was within view and we watched a lot of boats go by.  We walked to a lovely church and then through a cemetery.  Someone famous is buried there, but I forget his name!  After our stroll we went across the river to get a closer look at the carrier and sub and then went to Ft. Moultrie.  I couldn't have asked for better weather and can't wait to come back to Charleston to see even more!!

Enjoy your stay and the warm weather. You sure don't want to be here with wind chills of minus 10*!
