LB has been teaching me Spanish so now I say...

¬°Bienvenidos a mi blog!

LB has been keeping Chef Luigi's belly filled with good food and I will blog about all the delicious food I have eaten. For now I want to blog about Saturday morning.

LB has tradition. Saturday mornings he makes muffins for breakfast. He say he has made way too many muffins to count, but he tell Chef Luigi some of his favorites. Actually, he show Chef Luigi one of his favorite. He say it's one of best recipes on AR - Mom's Zucchini Bread. He make muffins out of it.

He say in true spirit of AR recipes, he change it around a little. Instead of 2 1/4 cups white sugar, he use 1 cup brown sugar, 1 1/4 cup white. Instead of two cups zucchini, he use three. And instead of bread, he make muffins.

But he not alone. His girls help us in kitchen.

LB say they fight sometimes but little one is feisty and tries to do everything.

After mixing up all ingredients, LB let Chef Luigi have taste test.

Chef Luigi get excited and cannot wait until muffins are done to eat.

While muffins are cooking, LB show Chef Luigi magic book of spells. No, it actually magic book of recipes. LB say he love this book, which he say he got as present from an AR member CindyLepp. Chef Luigi hear of her, and she is truly very awesome!

Great reading for Chef Luigi, learn many good recipes

After very long time (LB tell me to calm down, it was only about 18 minutes) muffins finally done.

Chef Luigi ended up having two, they were so good!

There were total of 18 muffins from batch, could have been more but Chef Luigi had lots of taste tests to perform.

Chef Luigi happy he was part of LB's tradition.

Hot Stuff?? Chef Luigi say that's debatable.

Yay for muffins!

PS: is your new chef jacket getting to be a bit, uh, snug? Maybe LB washed it in hot water and it shrunk, or, uh, maybe you don't need to 'test' the food so much!

Well spotted GENZ, I was sorta wondering the same (because I was wondering the same about me!) Luigi is getting the best of the best, huh?

Hi Chef Luigi. Loved the blog! As I do all of them! This is Abigail, she's the Chief Cook and Bottlewasher. She thinks you look very distinguished in your chef jacket. I didn't say anything to her but, have your thought about having it taken out a little?

Don't eat too many muffins or you will have to run with LB instead of just cheering him on!
