Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2013
Soooo easy and sooooo good. Made it exact to the recipe but doubled the hot sauce. Next time I'll probably add a little more.

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2013
Cottage cheese lasagna?. Against my better judgement I used it instead of ricotta. NEVER AGAIN. I see that this is rated highly but most of the notes I see are that the cook substituted with ricotta. The rest of the recipe is fab.

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

Good. Not great. I put twice as much vanilla in that the recipe called for. Next time I'll double that.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
This is simple enough to make but the results are just meh. Used fresh corn. I make it a rule never to use canned vegetables. Don't get all the complaints about the beer taste. I couldn't taste that component at all. If I make if again I'll definitely add more spice. Also it doesn't need to be cooked that long. I found that the chicken was dryer using the recommended time tables and the onions overcooked.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2012
Just made this. Loooove it. I used spicy sausage and almost doubled the chrushed red. I also added peas for color since I don't like tomatoes and omitted them. Next time I won't fully tenderize the onions prior to adding the liquids. While it simmers they become a little over done.

Fantastic and easy. I don't like seafood so I left that out and it was still fantastic.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2012
This was a very good banana bread. I feel like it's it's very dense but at the same time not super moist like I was expecting. I dated a guy years ago that made a banana bread that blows this out of the water.... Almost worth dating him again to get my hands on it. hah :)

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
I made these last night for Thanksgiving and because one of my favorite things ever are the oatmeal choc chip cookies at Potbelly's. They look very pretty but I really think they could have used a little more flavor. They are also a little dense. If I made them again I would add more butter or oil. All in all a solid cookie but tweek it a little.

Apple Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2012
Super healthy dish. Colorful. Followed the directions completely. Tasted it. As most people have said it's really bland. So at that point I added some Kikkoman Stir Fry Sauce. Much better after that. I would recommend not putting the onions in right away with the carrots. They become completely wilted. Also it doesn't reheat very well so it's not a dish I would recommend making extra to bring to work the next day.
