White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
Good cookies. I used parchment paper and they did not spread out. Still tasted good, but stayed in a ball. I also cut the sugars back to about 3/4 c each and it was still plenty sweet.

Fudge Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
Simple and fantastic. Made it in a deep dish 9 inch pie crust and covered it in 1/2 container cool whip once it cooled. I think if one were to put some chocolate shavings on top, it would look quite fancy.

Glazed Apple Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2011
Excellent, soft, cake like cookie. Using apples from the backyard. Used butter instead of shortening b/c I had it on hand.. not sure if it makes a difference or not. Could reduce salt to 1/4 t, and I reduced the raisins to 3/4 c. I didn't realize icing was so easy to make. I'll be making all my icing from scratch from now on. I had a couple of them but they are too tempting to so I took them to work and they were gone within the hour. Thank you for a nice recipe using fresh apples.

Fruited Curry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: May 1, 2011
This was great... just like a good restaurant chicken salad... it made me want to eat it on a buttery croissant...but alas... just on wheat bread. Needs a little salt, and next time I might use onion power instead of raw onion to make it a little less shocking. Thank you for the recipe.

Asian Glazed Chicken Thighs

Reviewed: May 1, 2011
The sauce really is fantastic, and as good, if not better than anything I've had an Asian restaurant. I nearly went into shock when I saw the price of the sesame oil at the grocery store, so I just used regular vegetable oil, and it was still great. Left the chicken in 5 minutes longer, but still had to cook it in the microwave a few minutes before I could eat it. Next time, I will cook it for 45 minutes and just keep an eye the last 10 so it won't burn. Thanks for the recipe.

Thai Chicken with Basil Stir Fry

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2010
Really good. Added about 1 tsp red chili paste from the asian market to kick it up a bit...but that's a matter of personal taste. Other than that, good recipe. Oddly time consuming though.
