Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2013
This was wonderful. Didnt put in potatoes, added a quarter of an onion, only had 2 boullion cubes so I used 3/4 tablespoon of soup base. One can cream of chicken. Served with homemade rolls, delicious. If I wasnt so full right now Id go back for more! Perfect for busy days when I have no time to cook since the veggies were still bright in color my son had no problem wolfing this down (hes not a fan of canned, dull, not so fresh veggies)

Basic Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2013
Just as the name implies, its your basic cheesecake. Not as heavy as what Ive made in the past which was nice but also not as rich. It satisfied my craving and will be nice with additional toppings.

Cheesy Bacon-Stuffed Burgers

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2011
I let my husband take over on this one, he didnt use any crackers or the egg in the beef mix. He cooked his own bacon and used texas pit bbq sauce. we didnt put any cheese on top, only in the middle with the bacon. Im not one for a super fattening meal but these were good. Hubby was over the moon!

Mexican Tinga

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
I needed to use up a nearly full can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce so I added it all, warned my family it would have some heat (which it did) but they loved it. My husband took the leftovers, mixed them with some homemade southwestern ranch dressing and used it as a dip for tortilla chips. Will be making again.

Buffalo Chicken and Ranch Wraps

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
When I was pregnant I craved anything with buffalo sauce on it. You can go to BWW and buy this same wrap for a few bucks, or can spend the same amount on all ingredients and make a few at home! My poor husband was up making these for me at all times of the day and night, but I just love them.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
Im not a fan of pumpkin pie but I LOVE cheesecake. I had a few jars of pureed fresh pumpkin in the fridge that I needed to use so I decided on this recipe. I made a crust with gingersnaps and added a bit more pumpkin to the top layer than called for. As of last night my son and I were the only two to have tried this and we LOVED it. Will definately make this again, but next time will double the filling so the layers are a bit more equal.

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2011
So unhealthy but so worth it! A few bites in, the family demanded that was on the "make again" list. We do not like mushrooms so I sauted some onions in their place. Did not use corn syrup and used half spicy brown mustard, half yellow. No need to add extra oil if you cook the bacon, save some of the grease and then cook the remaining ingredients in the bacon grease.

This is addicting! I make my own ranch and use that, sometimes add in a few extra vegetables, like red peppers or celery if i have some that I need to use up. I always add peas to this and its just a hit with those of all ages!

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2011
This is just wonderful! We live close to an orchard, and have a few trees in the back yard so I was just looking for ways to use all these apples up and this is it! I made half a batch the first time, canned it, and then my in laws came over and I have none left! Making a double batch now and hopefully will be able to at least freeze some for myself before the rest is gone. Guess I know what everyone is getting for the holidays!
