Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
I made these for my 3 and 4 year old who dont really like sweets and these were perfect. I took advice of others and added 1/2 cup more of flour and P.B. I took some to my parents house and everyone ate them up and wanted the recipe. Definitely a keeper in this house!

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
This was my first time baking bread. I messed this one up. After reading the reviews i added the vanilla and cinnamon. Mine turned out burned on the outside and undercooked a bit on the inside. I have no idea what went wrong. The inside was good but not what i expected.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
This was the best meatloaf recipe i've ever tried. This is up there with Cotton Patch meatloaf! thanks! I added all of the onion soup packet and used 2 lbs of 80/20 meat. I've made this with the ketchup topping and without and this meatloaf is better without. I put 2 slices of bread under the meatloaf and of course it worked out great. Make sure to spray your pan down with non-stick cooking spray.

This recipe rocked my socks off for sure! Make sure you have the extra bbq sauce b/c you will definitely want it and make sure not to overcook the pork or it will get very dry.

Pigs in a Blanket

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2010
I tried these the way the recipe calls and the way other reviewers suggested.. We liked Lil' smokies, crecent rolls better. We cut the crecent roll in half and used shredded fiesta blend cheese. We didnt put that much cheese in them and they were really good. Next time we'll put more cheese though.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly and am sad to say I wasted my time and food on this one. It tasted too much of the cream of chicken and kind of cheesey for there not being any cheese in it. Will not make again! I went with chicken broth like others suggested so maybe that's where i went wrong.

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2010
This recipe is hands down the best chicken and dumplings recipe on this site.. Ive tried down the list from highest to lowest and so far this one is going to be the keeper. I added extra chicken broth as suggested and it came out just right. not too much liquid, just right. I didnt have celery seed so i didnt add it but i did add carrotts and it was DELICIOUS!!! thanks for this one!

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
I was a little skeptical with the recipe. I usually just use mckormick seasoning and some bread crumbs but i tried and i really liked it. Even my 3 and 5 year old ate it and they never eat anything. I used 12 drumbsticks instead. Definitely will make again. Thanks for this one! UPDATE: now when I make this I make sure to salt and pepper the chicken before putting into the egg. Also I add several splashes of Tobasco to the egg with a splash of water. I cook in a 9inch skillet with a large lid over it. Still comes out the same but the taste is better. Again, Thanks for this one!

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2011
Everyone loved this cake on easter. I did follow others reviews and added the applesauce, extra cinnamon and vanilla. What i got was a perfectly dense, moist, delicious carrot cake. I made the cake two days before easter and wrapped it tight in plastic wrap and stored it in a cool dry place. On easter i unwrapped it and iced it.

Party Punch VI

Reviewed: May 18, 2011
This was just okay to me, but my guests, for my daughters preschool graduation party, loved it and went back for seconds. I used the frozen concentrate fruit punch mix, rainbow sherbert since no one had strawberry, and a 2 liter of sprite. I'll use this recipe again in the future.

Basic Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2011
I accidentally left out a cup of sugar out of my cupcakes. This recipe saved my cupcakes! I notice tho whenever I make cream cheese icing it gets runny so I keep the cream cheese in the fridge until ready to make.
