Oven Scrambled Eggs

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2013
I'm planning a huge breakfast, 125 people! I made one pan as a test and I'm torn whether or not I should use this recipe. The eggs were beautiful, and fluffy, however the time it takes to cook is WAY off. After the ten minute prep, which was pretty accurate, the eggs cooked for 40 minutes (and still very moist) making the actual time a t total of 50 minutes:-( it doesn't take a well seasoned cook to know that you could skillet scramble 24 eggs in 10 minutes (or less). So, while I think the eggs are good, I'm not sure the actual time is reasonable.

Traditional Gyro Meat

I really enjoyed this recipe... the flavor was kinda lacking but the texture was really good. I ended up using some different seasonings recipe but I am cooking it in the water bath, which I think is really the key! Thanks for posting!

Classic Texas Caviar

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
This is wonderful! I made my own black eyed peas just to cut down on sodium. I also added one ear of fresh corn on the cob, used green bell pepper because that is what I had and I was out of cilantro. I also had to use Mezzeta tamed japolenos because I didn't have any fresh. Main point... ALL my kids LOVED it!! pretty good to get the kiddos eating some more healthier sides, hey are 5, 7 and 9!!!!

Peanut Butter Popcorn

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
This is excellent and very easy to make. I don't use microwave popcorn so I just made air popped popcorn, I used 6 T of popcorn kernals and he ratio was good for the mixture. this is the 2nd batch. I made it a few nights ago and the kids requested it again tonight.

French Baguettes

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
Very Good. I almost didn't try it out because I don't use bread flour, bread machine yeast, or a bread machine. I used all the typical ingredients, regular flour and yeast. I used my kitchen aid mixer and it turned out. As I would in other yeast breads, I made sure the water I used was warm, the recipe didn't specify. I also took the advice from a previous post that said to use egg whites, not the yolk, and to steam the bottom of the oven with some water. will absolutely make this again.

White Bean Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
I LOVE this recipe, I got it from a friend about a year ago, and it has become a favorite. This is not a recipe that if you don't have something you can leave it out, maybe he corn, everything blends so well together that I will only make it if I have everything I need. SO YUMMY!!!
