Rich Chocolate Truffle Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
so smoth and silky, all I had for crust was cinnamon teddy grams. Was interesting combo. Love the pie, wouldn't add any more sugar. I used milk chocolate chips - family preferance. thx for great recipe!!!

Candy Apple Jelly

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
love the flavor of this jelly even though I've never been a big fan of red hots. I added a teaspoon of vanilla at the end of cooking (I always do with jams and jellies). This is as close to perfect as it gets!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
loved the flavor. I didn't use the beer - didn't have any- I added one more can of beef broth instead. I added a pkg of dry onion dip mix per previous suggetions. It was almost too oniony and would have most likely been fine without it like the recipe says. I do think this might have been better at 6 hrs and I'll try this next time. Mine seemed a little over done (could be my slow cooker!)

Crisp Pickled Green Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
I've made this a few times now and It's my Dads favorite. All I change is leave out pepper flakes and add one pickled jallapeno slice to each jar. Only chaged it because that's what I had onhand.

Andy's Spicy Green Chile Pork

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
how easy and how yummy! Iusually don't like slow cookery but loved this. My salsa wasn't that flavorfull out of the bottle so added some cumin and cinnamon and frozen corn. I thickend up all the jucies with a flour slurry while cooling the pork to shread. best chilli verde I've ever made- thx a bunch!

Sweet Zucchini Relish

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
made this recipe with yellow zucchini (buttersticks) and purple onions because that's what I had on hand. Very pretty and delicious. Maybe next time will add a shredded carrot for color... Only put in 4 cups of sugar per previous comments, mater of preference I think. I will make this again!!!
