Mashed Sweet Potatoes
Too much maple syrup!! The sweetness overpowers the already delicious natural sweetness of the veggie. If you scale the maple syrup down, this is a great, fast, and easy recipe!

Fast and Friendly Meatballs
This recipe is like a foundation for greatness... By themselves, as the recipe shows, they are very bland and flavorless. I used the lean turkey (7% fat) and was very generous with the Italian seasoned bread crumbs. I also added lots of basil and italian seasoning, and added a lot more flavor with garlic salt. Followed the rest of the recipe (egg and cooking time) and they were delicious!

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Yummy, easy, basic recipe that leaves room for lots of variations! I have a 4-qt slow-cooker so I went with a 3.22 pound chuck roast and cut the large fat slab off before cooking. I went with quartered potatoes and carrots only, layering 1/2 of them on the bottom of the pot. I then added most of the onion soup mix and a can of beef broth instead of the water. I did brown the roast in a pan with a bit of olive oil after seasoning it with montreal's steak seasoning. I had to cut it into a few pieces (it was big for my little pot!) and stuck them on top, sprinkling the rest of the onion mix on top of them. I followed the cooking time, but added the other half of the veggies for the last couple hours. That was BY FAR the best suggestion, those came out perfect! In addition to the mushy delicious veggies on the bottom :) This was super good and easy and I will be making it again for sure!!
