Berries 'N' Cream

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
This get's an "A" for easiness, though the flavor is almost imperceptible and I wouldn't really label it as "caramel". We tried it with sliced bananas and fresh strawberries and the flavor was more complimentary with the banana.

Easy Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
We used fresh torn spinach instead of broccoli and added mushrooms and artichoke hearts, and it turned out wonderfully. My boyfriend had three helpings! I would give it a 5, though it’s on the salty side and I missed the golden flaky crust that quiche usually has. The baking mix did give it little pockets of crust, so I think I’ll use more of that next time. P.S. My baking challenged boyfriend made this almost entirely on his own and remarked at how easy it is.

Corned Beef and Cabbage II

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
This was a pretty quick and simple receipe, though the meat was not as tender as I like.

Rob's Screaming Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
If you love stuffed jalepeno's and bacon, you'll love these. But be careful to get ALL the seeds out, even if you love spicy food, like me, a few jalepeno seads can bring you to tears. We made these with turkey bacon, and they had a very "expensive" quility to them - unlike any other jalepeno popper I've ever had. Personally, I thought they were a little too cream-cheesy, but they added an interesting dimension when chopped up and thrown in a chicken soft tacos. For spicy-food lovers, the skins of the jalepeno's are not spicy on their own - you'll need to add some jazz to the stuffing.

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
The marinade tastes like spicy ketchup and it seemed like it might overpower the shrimp, but once they were cooked the tastes were very complimentary. The garlic grilled artichokes (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Grilled-Garlic-Artichokes/Detail.aspx) made for a perfect paring!

Grilled Garlic Artichokes

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
This sauce is spectacular! A quote from my boyfriend: "I want to BATHE in it!". It would be great drizzled over vegis, as a marinade for shrimp or chicken, or a dipping sauce with crusty bread. The artichoches were perfectly cooked, though I prefer them without the crispy edges you get from grilling. On top of being delicious, the recipe was very simple & healthy. Can you ask for anything more?

Grilled Feta Tomatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
These were simple to prepare and turned out nicely, though they were quite simple. I'd like to try these again, with a clove of garlic and chopped basil and shredded parmesan mixed into the fetta.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
This tastes like canned chili. I prefer to use fresh peppers, and roasted stewed tomatoes to add flavor, color and texture.

Halloween Popcorn Pumpkins

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
These were cute and pretty easy to make, though they surprisingly weren't sweet. Next time, I'd use a rice crispy treat recipe and add food die and candy corn so you get both cute factor AND taste.

Crescent Mummy Dogs

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
I was really excited to try these for my halloween party. I put my man in charge of making these so I'm not sure what went wrong, but they were VERY salty and the "bandages" split while we were cooking them.

Halloween Bloody Baked Rats

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
A great concept for a Halloween party! They looked great, though the sauce was boring and too sweet and there was way too much onion. Next time, I'd use a Ketchup/BBQ Sauce and 1/2 the onions or go all italian with meatballs and pizza sauce.

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2013
I doubled the water, and this still turned out very dry, and very salty. Skip.
