This was my very first attempt at pad thai, EVER. So considering that, I thought it went pretty well. I tripled the sauce like some other reviewers suggested. I used hoison sauce instead of fish sauce only because that's what I had in the pantry. It tasted good to me, but then again I'm not sure what fish sauce tastes like so maybe that would be better. I also added a tbsp of peanut butter which I thought added a little depth to the flavers. I skimped on the white sugar too. I used shrimp instead of chicken and threw in 3 cloves of finely chopped garlic. I would definitely make this again.
